9/30-10/4

9/30-The biggest writing assignment is taking place this friday. Students got the dbq packet and we began to look at each of the documents. the question was did lives improve for americans between 1865 and 1900
10/1-I was out for coaching duties, students looked at what life was like for blacks in the south during the Reconstruction. These are designed to be historical context to assist with the essay
10/2-We went back to looking at the dbq. I went over the rubric and explained what needs to be included, we worked on thesis writing in class.
10/3-We went over another historical context document and continued working on our thesis statements and essay preparing.
10/4-Students did their district writing and turned in their work packet
